I just saw your post about the rescued coon baby. How did you get into rescuing wild animals? (I've always been interested in wildlife/nature conservation and was wondering how to get into wildlife rescue)

Good Question! A long time ago, we found an injured baby squirrel and didn’t know what to do, so I called the Michigan Friends Of Wildlife (I live in michigan) Anyways, I joined because I really loved taking care of the squirrel and I do it every year now (it’s been about 5 years;-)

If you’d like to be a rehabber, the easiest way is to find a large organization and offer to volunteer there. That’ll definitely get you started!
